Tommasi & Tommasi is an engineering services firm based in Udine, in north-east Italy. Raoul Tommasi founded it in 1992 as EHL Eng (Environment, Hydrology, Land Engineering), and it is still a family business.
Raoul Tommasi is still its principal. Its technical director, RafDouglas C. Tommasi, P.E., PhD, directs and carries out every assignment himself. TT has one engineer: for larger work it teams up with a network of associated professionals and firms, or joins consortia and joint ventures as the specialist partner.

Alongside these four areas come our civil and hydraulic engineering record and technical assistance to institutions.
Environmental noise and acoustics
Strategic noise mapping and action plans under Directive 2002/49/EC, airport and road noise monitoring, municipal noise zoning, noise barriers. We work with the common European method CNOSSOS-EU.
GIS, Lidar and geospatial data
Lidar surveys, automatic feature extraction from point clouds, PostGIS databases and processing pipelines. Spatial data ready for models and for decisions.
Energy transition and energy communities
Solar PV with storage for public bodies, renewable energy communities, solar potential mapping. From feasibility study to funding application and design.
Monitoring networks and air quality
Design of measurement networks for air, particulate matter, water and weather, dispersion models for environmental impact assessments, early warning systems for railway tunnel ventilation.

Environmental noise monitoring and mapping service for Turin International Airport: project management, liaison with local stakeholders, field noise data collection and collection of GIS and noise source data. Includes quality assurance of the noise mapping and deliverables and noise training for airport staff.
